Oleana, is a 4 piece folk/roots, band from Bragg Creek, AB.

Members Leanne Copithorne-Lightfoot (vocals, rhythm guitar
& songwriter), Tim Jeffery (lead guitar, vocals, songwriter), Lucinda Warnock (Tin Whistle, Accordion, vocals), and Jamie Newsom (upright bass), have known, played and supported one another, in separate endeavours for years but only came together in 2018, to form Oleana. 

The group is known for its ability to weave back and forth between haunting melodies with sensitive arrangements, to toe-tapping, up-beat tunes, mixed with a good deal of on-stage humour and camaraderie.
They are known for their original tunes (South Country Fair Songwriter Contest Finalist 2 years running, second place Ship & Anchor Songwriter finalist, and most recently Calgary Songsmith's digital release
and Ironwood performance) but enjoy surprising their audience by sneaking in a cover tune or two! Clearly, they enjoy performing and each other.
